1. Requesting a claims pack

The first step in the claim process is to request a claims pack using this website. When you receive it, it will contain a copy of our terms and conditions and a claim form. We just need you to provide some simple information, such as your full name, address and date of birth. You will also need to give us information about your PPI policy, such as the policy number, who you purchased it from and the date of the sale.
If you do not have all of this information, don’t worry – you can still make a claim and we will find out the details from the PPI company.

2. Lodging your claim

Once you have completed and signed the claim form, return it to us in the freepost envelope provided. When we receive it we will open your claim and will write to you to inform you of this. We will then write to the PPI provider to lodge your claim.

3. Responding to our requests

After we have lodged your claim, and throughout the claim process, we may need to get in touch with you to request more information. This might be because you have forgotten to complete the claim form, or because the PPI company needs more information in order to locate your records.
It is important that you co-operate with these requests as this will help us to win your case quickly – even if you do not know the answer to a question that we have asked, let us know anyway.

4. Negotiating with the PPI provider

By law, once we have lodged your claim the PPI provider must respond to us and cannot just ignore the issue. We will put forward a strong case that your PPI was mis-sold to you and will negotiate with the PPI provider to try to get you a full refund of all your PPI premiums plus interest.

5. Taking further legal action

If the PPI provider doesn’t co-operate or refuses to agree to a full refund, we will take further legal action. This may involve making a claim through the courts or via the Financial Ombudsman, depending on the circumstances. We will put together a case for submission and will deal with any appeals.

6. Obtaining your refund

Once the PPI company has agreed to a full refund (or has been ordered to pay a refund), we will arrange for you to be sent an acceptance form, which you must sign in order to receive your refund. If the PPI company delays unreasonably then we can pursue them for payment of the refund.

7. Paying our fees

We charge no up-front fees and we never ask you to pay anything before we win your case. If your claim is successful, we will invoice you for our fee, which is 25% plus VAT, after the PPI provider has confirmed your refund to you.
